Phnum Penh

National Museum

Built in 1913, the museum currently has a collection of handicrafts and carvings 4-10 century Angkor era, such as the number of pieces of French photographer shooting photos of Angkor, Angkor Wat and many genuine sculptures. Before doing homework to do before Angkor Wat would be helpful.

The museum is open design, very beautiful, full of exotic flavors. Wat Ounalom

 Phnom Penh, the largest and oldest temple, there is the largest pagoda in Phnom Penh. Ounalom meaning "eyebrow", the legendary stupa in the possession of a monk eyebrows. Tuol Sleng Museum

 Prison Museum is located in the southern city, was originally a high school here, Pol Pot period is used as a detention camp inmates, also known as S-21 prison. Where more than 17,000 have been imprisoned intellectuals, civilians and women and children, were tortured to death every day countless people, until 1979 the forests regime invaded Phnom Penh, this concentration camp left 14 dead bodies and seven survivors. Silver Pagoda

             Independence Monument


Independence Monument to commemorate the November 9, 1953 in Cambodia to get rid of French colonial rule and won independence completely built. Completed in March 1958, 37 meters high, a total of 7 layers, there are zombies (Cambodia cultural symbol) 100. When Independence Day every year, the Cambodian king or kings representatives held a grand ceremony here. Also many visiting foreign heads of state to lay a wreath here.

Killing Fields of Cahoeung EK

In 1975, the Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot seized power capture of Phnom Penh, between the next three years, Cambodia lost nearly a third of her population, but are mostly intellectuals. Wat Phnom
